To priests: Concelebrate the Mass of May 13,
presided over by Pope Benedict XVI

Information for Priests:

Holy Mass of 10h00, on May 13, at the Prayer Area of the Shrine

The Rectory of the Shrine of Fatima is sending to the country’s diocesan bishops (concerning diocesan priests) and to Provincials of Religious Congregations (concerning their priests) the following information, regarding the signing up of priests to concelebrate the Mass of May 13, at 10h00, which will be celebrated in the Prayer Area of the Shrine of Fatima and presided over by Pope Benedict XVI:

In order to concelebrate the Holy Mass of May 13, at 10h00, priests must request from the Shrine of Fatima, by regular mail, e-mail or fax, authorization to sign up.

The sign-up can be done in person at the Shrine, at the office of SEPALI, which is located in the Rectory Building.

To sign up, you need to supply the following information:

- Full name, residential address, e-mail and telephone number.

- Photocopies of current priestly ID Card and civil ID Card.

The acceptance of the sign-up will be confirmed by the Shrine through the timely sending of the card of access to the concelebration. This card may instead be picked up in person at SEPALI.

Although everyone is asked to sign up ahead of time as possible, so things can run smoothly, it is possible that it may be done up to May 13 by signing up and receiving the access card on the spot. In the later case, the attendance will be done at the Booth of Information #2, near the western stairway of access to the Prayer Area, as follows: days 10 & 11 – from 09h00 to 13h00 and from 14h30 to 18h30; day 12 – from 0900 to 21h00; day 13 – from 0600 to 09h00.


Priests must bring alb and white stole.
